Misreadings

Misreadings is a series about how urban found text, reshaped by fragmentation, missing letters, and selective framing, transforms everyday signs into ironic disruptions of meaning and unexpected narratives.

In this project, the camera acts as an editor. By isolating specific fragments from the visual noise of the street, I document the natural entropy of language. A broken sign or a torn poster is not just physical decay; it is an unintentional intervention by the city itself. Misreadings captures these fleeting moments where corporate slogans, warnings, and advertisements lose their original authority and accidentally reveal a deeper, often absurd truth.
